Katherine, a native of Fanwood, New Jersey, graduated in 2008 and 2009 from the Maryland Institute College of Arts with, respectively, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. During her graduate study at MICA, Katherine served as a teaching intern and student teacher at Midtown Academy, Cecil Elementary School and Booker T. Washington Middle School, all located in the heart of Baltimore. Katherine also worked at Millennium Arts Academy in The Bronx and served as an occasional substitute teacher at the prestigious Dalton School. Katherine joined PAVE as its art teacher in January 2010 and is thrilled to be opening the world of visual art to its students.
