Jill Glassbrook graduated from Indiana University with degrees in English and Gender Studies, and went on to attend Seton Hall University where she received her masters in Education – Curriculum Design and Technology. Jill began her career as a preschool teacher, and went on to join AmeriCorps to launch a wrap-around and mentoring program for incarcerated teenagers. Jill then joined Teach for America where she taught in Newark, New Jersey as a self-contained behavior disorders teacher for students in grades 4-6. After this, she came to Brooklyn as the Director of Special Services and then Dean of Students at Achievement First Bushwick Middle School. After 4 years, Jill joined the PAVE team and launched the Middle School as the founding MS Principal. She now works with leaders, teachers, and students across all of PAVE’s schools in grades PK-8. Jill lives in Brooklyn with her husband, 2 dogs, and twins, Theo and Liddy.
