Hannah Prussin, born in Syracuse, graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Politics. During college, Hannah tutored students in NYC public schools as well as conducted research studying the daily routines of ethnically diverse NYC children. These experiences helped intensify her interest in urban classrooms and public education reform. Hannah joined Teach For America in 2009, teaching first grade for two years in West Philadelphia. During these two years, Hannah worked to earn a Masters of Science in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Hannah moved back to NYC and joined PAVE as a kindergarten teacher in 2011 and is excited for another year of hard work, high expectations, and fun at PAVE!
