Falon Rainer graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelors degree in Political Science and Criminology and a minor in African-American and African Studies. She spent her undergraduate career volunteering as a mentor and tutor in public high schools throughout the city of Columbus. While at Ohio State, she studied abroad in Hohoe, Ghana where she worked at a local elementary boarding school and found her love for teaching. Upon graduation, Falon joined Teach For America’s New York City Corps and was introduced to PAVE. Falon is currently pursuing her Master’s in Childhood Education through the Relay Graduate School of Education and is excited to be teaching Kindergarten at PAVE!
