Elizabeth Von Felde graduated from Syracuse University in 2007 with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education and a B.A. in English and Textual Studies. During her undergraduate studies, she focused on teaching students with learning differences through multiple and varied instructional approaches. Elizabeth worked in the Philadelphia suburbs as a behavioral therapist for children with autism, ADHD, emotional disturbance, and oppositional defiance disorder, implementing behavioral plans and interventions in the school setting. She received a Masters of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania in May of 2009 where she studied Reading, Writing, and Literacy and obtained her Reading Specialist certification. Elizabeth also worked as a Kindergarten and First Grade emotional support teacher at a charter school in North Philadelphia. She grew up in Long Island, New York and currently resides in Brooklyn. She is PAVE’s Learning Support Coordinator and is responsible for special education support and coordination.
