Our First Field Trip

Dr. Davies Apple Picking!

On October 22, PAVE Academy students, parents and teachers drove an hour North to Davies Farm. The students got to participate first hand in the autumnal farming season and breathed plenty of crisp, fresh fall air. Throughout the week, staff and teachers used the apples to bake treats for everyone to share and teachers incorporated the apple picking experience into the daily curriculum. It was a huge success and we look forward to our next adventure together as a school!

Parents Night

On the evenings of September 30th and October 1st, we welcomed the parents of PAVE Academy for an inside look at the daily life of our students. They enjoyed learning the cheers our students proudly say each day and hearing from our teachers about PAVE's curriculum and technology. They especially loved seeing our Smart Boards in action! Parents also had a chance to talk to teachers and our special education teacher about any individual concerns or questions. Everyone left the school excited about PAVE's work and we look forward to seeing the parents in the school again in the coming months!
